„Precizinė neinvazinė vėžio diagnostika“, Nr. J05-LVPA-K-04-0033
JSC „Diagnolita“ successfully carried out the project „Precizinė neinvazinė vėžio diagnostika“, project code No. J05-LVPA-K-04-0033. The project was realized from 2019-01-01 to 2022-12-31 by using European Union Funds according to the priority axis 1 „Strengthening Research and Development and Innovation“ implement No. J05-LVPA-K-04 „Intelektas. Bendri mokslo – verslo projektai“. The project value was 728277,22 Eur and 418381,34 Eur were received from European Regional Development Fund.
The aim of JSC „Diagnolita“ was to develop a non-invasive prostate cancer test based on the detection of multiple gene expression.
During the project implementation period, the prototype for the detection of 7 prostate cancer biomarkers was developed. The algorithms were created to allow the prediction of clinically significant prostate cancer risk according to the biomarker quantities in patient urine.
„Naujos prostatos vėžio diagnostikos priemonės (NPVDP)“, Nr. J05-LVPA-K-01-0032
JSC „Diagnolita“ successfully completed the project „Naujos prostatos vėžio diagnostikos priemonės (NPVDP)“, project code No. J05-LVPA-K-01-0032. The project was carried out from 2016-09-15 to 2018-12-14 by using European Union Funds according to the priority axis 1 „Strengthening Research and Development and Innovation“ implement No. J05-LVPA-K-01 „Intelektas. Bendri mokslo – verslo projektai“. The project value was 435715,81 Eur and 255992,10 Eur were received from European Regional Development Fund.
The aim of JSC „Diagnolita“ was to develop diagnostic tests and technologies, to investigate biomarkers and their combinations for liquid biopsy diagnostics.
During the project the technologies for nucleic acids purification and the detection of prostate cancer biomarkers from patient urine were developed. It was examined how to combine biomarker quantities and patient clinical data into the prognostic model. It led to the creation of the prostate cancer test that was licensed in 2019. The project of JSC „Diagnolita“ gained „Europos burės 2021“ award for efficiency in medicine.
